The first Turkish naval fleet has been established by himself. Many troops in this fleet have gained accomplishment through the years. He is known to be the one who made the Turks recognise the Maritime. Hence he is the first Turkish Seaman in the history.<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 20px;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c7aka Bey, member of <em><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">\u00c7avuldur<\/span><\/em> tribe in the Turkish relative to Oghuzs, has been captured during a battle against Byzantines after the <em><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">Battle of Manzikert<\/span><\/em> in 26 August 1071 and has eventually been taken to Constantinople (\u0130stanbul).<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 20px;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Emperor N. Botaniates the Third has taken him to the palace. He has here been bespoken as \u201c<em><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">Protonolilismus<\/span><\/em>\u201d derived from the \u201cProto noli lis\u201d \u2013 \u201cTrouble-free Senior\u201d, an adjective of romance. Having drawn interest, permission has also been granted for his free presence inside the palace. Thus he has managed to familiarize himself with Byzantines and had a chance to investigate their maritime affairs in details.<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 20px;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">Aleksios Komnenos the First<\/span><\/em>, who came to the throne in 1081, did not quite like him which in this case caused \u00c7aka Bey loose the royalty in a sense. For that reason \u00c7aka Bey has managed to flee of Constantinople. With the help of tribe therewithal, he hath managed to capture <span style=\"color: #3366cc;\"><em>Smyrna<\/em><\/span> (\u0130zmir), which is under the Byzantines Empire, and establish <em><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">\u0130zmir Principality<\/span><\/em> thro 16 years.<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 20px;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now it was the turn to rule Aegean. After two \u2013 three years of period, he hath captured Fo\u00e7a, Urla, \u00c7e\u015fme and S\u0131\u011fac\u0131k. Within this scope he hath established a Turkish fleet inclusive of 17 towaway and 33 sails in the shipyard constructed.<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 20px;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That fleet set up vanquished Byzantines fleet off K\u00f6stence island (Uzun Ada) in Aegean Sea in 1081. Nevertheless he did not settle with such victory for he concurrently proceeded <em><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">Rodos<\/span><\/em> and <em><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">Sisam<\/span><\/em> islands and even invaded them.<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 20px;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After \u00c7aka Bey had conquered Midilli in 1089 and Sak\u0131z island in 1090, Byzantines Empire were merely disturbed due to his ambition and they were awaken to set over the fleet. Turkish fleet under the command of \u00c7aka Bey defeated Byzantines Empire in 19<sup>th<\/sup> May 1090 in the battle placed between Sak\u0131z island and Karaburun in the <em><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">Battle of Koyun Islands<\/span><\/em>.<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 20px;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">These victories startled <em><span style=\"color: #3366cc;\">K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7arslan I<\/span><\/em>, Emperor of Anatolian Seljuk and his precious groom. With this regard, Byzantines Empire provoked K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7arslan I against \u00c7aka Bey. Thereafter \u00c7aka Bey, during his visit, was taken off by the order of K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7arslan I in 1093.<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 20px;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">That killing has been a major victory for Byzantines Empire, yet a grand impact to Turkish Maritime. After his death there has been no dominance on islands in Aegean Sea and Byzantines Empire recaptured their past.
